When I first began with an interest in web design and graphic design, I started with a blank slate. Thankfully, along the way, I've had numerous mentors in the field who have been willing to share tips, strategies, and creative ideas with me. It's often so nice to have that one friend you can call up and ask that technical question you can't seem to figure out.

In keeping with that tradition, Ranch House Designs created the Boot Camp to share the knowledge and skills we have developed along the way. We believing in helping teach others the skills it took us over ten years to learn, as a way to give back to others and share our passion for creativity.

Hi, I'm Rachel Cutrer.
About 11 years ago, I got started in this business with a Photoshop for Dummies book, a sketch pad where I drew out hundreds of "pretend layouts" just for fun, and a dream to bring big city advertising creativity to the agriculture industry. That dream and that drive helped me build Ranch House Designs, the pioneer in creative agricultural web design. Today, I spend my deays creating just about anything and everything you could imagine...from web sites to print ads to catalogs to signage to menus to...you name it!

I'd estimate in my lifetime I have designed over 50,000 pages of print advertising, and RHD is currently at the 425 mark on the number of web sites we maintain. It's hard to brag, but I've also won over 15 national awards in graphic design from the Livestock Publications Council and led my company to be on the Aggie 100 list 3 years in a row.

If you come to a boot camp, you'll quickly find out that I'm just a normal, low profile, easy going person who loves great design and loves helping others. I won't be wearing a lot of makeup, and I'll probably be sipping on a Diet Coke while listing to Christian radio all day. Come spend a day with me and I'll try to teach you everything I know, and help YOU learn the most you can, so that you too can be successful in the web design and graphic design field. Because along with that statement above, I firmly belive....

When you get, give. When you learn, teach.

That's what has made me the success I am today, and I'm happy to share that with you.
