Liz Tovar is one of our leading graphic designers at RHD, and has been an very important part of our success since 2008. Liz begain working at RHD as a part time high school student worker. She has an interest in graphic design and had experience working with her high school yearbook and journalism program. Through the years, Liz worked in virtually every segment of our print division and has moved up the career ladder to the current position she holds today as director of our print division.
Currently Liz is our lead designer for catalog and publication projects. She handles all sale catalog design and publication design that goes through RHD each year. Additionally, she is a graphic designer for print ads, website designs, logos, business cards, brochures, and more.
From 2010 to 2011, Liz served as editor of The American Brahman Review, which was a magazine published by RHD that promotes the attributes and benefits of American Brahman cattle. In this position she handled the editorial layout and much of the advertising design for this publication, until this business sold in December 2011.
Liz and her husband Matt are residents of Rosenberg, Texas, but she is originally a native of East Bernard. She served as editor-in-chief of the East Bernard ISD newspaper, and earned two state awards from the Texas UIL for oustanding journalism. She has completed advanced training in all applications of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.
Liz is completing her degree in marketing and is an active member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church where she helps teach religious classes.

Most Embarrasing Moment:
When I wasn't sure how to pronounce Simmental and Chi (as in Chianina.) I said Chi like the hair straightener and Simmental like "Sim-mental" to one of our clients. I'm sure they thought I was retarded. |
